“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to teach ESL as a DOORS TO HOPE volunteer.  My adult students are enthusiastic and hard-working.  We spend most of our class time working on verb forms, language structure, and pronunciation.  My students realize that, to become proficient, they must use their English skills in their daily lives.  Though English is a difficult language to master, DOORS TO HOPE provides a warm,  nurturing environment for both students and volunteers.  Clearly, the interaction between students and volunteers at DOORS TO HOPE is a joyful experience for everyone”.
